Description

I actually registered at EX about 5 weeks ago..  It was before the quit date  I had selected.  I didn't come back until today because I had a poor track record at stopping my smoking and just plain felt scared that I wouldn't make it AGAIN.

Today I am on my 18th day as an EX.  I am going to make it because I really want to.  Other quit times, I'd put the patch on and white knuckle it for maybe a week and then rip the patch off and say - I can't do this.

But now I understand it isn't just the addiction to nicotine I have to work at I also have to change some of my habits and identify my triggers..

I am part of a study involving people over 50 who have difficulty giving up smoking.  I'm hoping my experience will halp another senior become an EX..
