At 4:45 a.m. right here in Fountain Hills, Arizona, I put out my last filthy nasty cancer producing death stick.

Gail and I are making a nice breakfast of eggs, ham, hash browns, both putting on a patch, and excited about spending the whole weekend together cleaning the entire condo top to bottom.  I must say that when I looked at the last cancer stick, which had many puffs left on it, and Gail still had about a half a pck left, we looked at each other , stood up and gave each other a bone chilling hug and kiss.

I will be clinging close  to you guys, and staying in meetings all week end, because our agreed upon goal is 12 hours first, then 24, then 48, etc.

I love you all for the kindness and support you have given thus far.

I am now a NON-SMOKER.  I AM DONE!!!

Love,

Michael and Gail Beatty
