I got hit with a nasty computer scam a bit ago. Called my tech support and my stress barometer went right through the roof. To make a long story short my computer is OK now. But , man I wanted a cigarette so bad. I called a friend and was telling her my woes when she asked me - where would you smoke one if you had it?
I started laughing. It is pouring rain - I mean torrential rain - and my building went smoke free September 1st . No smoking anywhere on the propertty. I'd have to go stand on the public sidewalk in the rain! I'm still chuckling.
This time I used friends to help me work through tmy stress. No one said stopping would be easy, but I'm glad I can find humor when the "desparate need arises". I have so much to learn, practice andpass on.
