@Roxysand Welcome to the Ex.  There are some quitters here that do just that so I'm sure they would enjoy sharing with you.  Using your hands is a great distraction.

@Roxysand    It is a good distraction.  I crocheted as well...kept my hands and mind busy.  I started out wanting to make a grand quit project, but the first weeks of my quit, I found out my mind wouldn't focus on a difficult project, so I made a simple project....like a no-brainer project.  I made a simple table runner that I never finished.  Crochet or any kind of project, is a good distraction. Any distraction will work!  Just don't smoke.
