I just signed up today so that hopefully I can actually quit smoking this time. I recently found out my daughter started vaping nicotine. She is only 14. I can't keep smoking when it's my job to be the role model of You Can Quit Smoking. I have wanted to quit for a really long time. In the long ago past I had tried many times but I never got very far. I'm 51 and have been smoking since age 15, so for 36 years. It's about time I quit for myself.. but throwing in what is going on with my teenager, I HAVE to try. I know you are supposed to quit for yourself, but the way I see it, my daughter is the biggest part of me and everything in me wants my daughter to give this up now. So quitting for me is quitting for her.
I am cutting down til my quit date, using the gum, and am hoping to make some friends .. some quit buddies. I believe I can do it.
