About a year and half ago a good friend of mine and I decided again that we want to quit smoking but I really didn't want to try chantex again and he didn't like what I had to say about it. so we thought we'd go with  e-cig's and I got mine first, that was all fine and dandy until I found out what was in the liquid and I didn't want to be inhaling anti-freeze so I went back to cigs and he has continued on with both. 3 1/2 months ago I said enough was enough after the doctor told me that I was wheezing, realizing I needed help I found this site and after a month I stopped smoking cold turkey. I knew that I would have to stay away from my friends that drank and smoked for awhile. well we finally got together with my good friend and had a few drinks and yes he is still smoking saying that he has to quit and wants to quit so I gave him this site and told him what he needs to do but so far he hasn't made the decision to come to this here and hasn't made the real decision to quit smoking. yes while he and his girlfriend were at my house they smoked and it did not bother me one bit, I never even considered asking him for a cig, if anything it has strenghtened my decision to remain smoke free, as he was hacking and coughing I was reminded what it was like tobe a smoker and always having to clear my throat of the flem. I actually enjoy laughing without coughing up something or plain choking. so i rather enjoy my decision to quit smoking, knowing I can't force him to become an EX-community member I still try to encourage them.

Your decision to be here reading this has brought one step closer to the decision to make a promise to yourself  and break free from the chains of Nicotine.  With the love and support of my daily pledge group and the EX-community  I have been a non-smoker for 85 days.

Thank you for your support.
