Day One

So today I've managed to successfully go almost 24 hours without a cigarette so I've moved up my quit date. It's been a lot simpler than I could have hoped for although the roughest hours are coming up. For me the hardest time of day is between three pm and 11 pm. I did it yesterday. Some of the tricks a few members have shared with me work rather well. So far two of the best have been reminding myself I don't do that anymore by saying it aloud. Also sticking my head in the freezer and taking deep breaths. This one makes me feel silly but it clears my head and makes the craving more tolerable sometimes forcing them away altogether.
