Day 12

I think week two has been much more difficult than week one. It seems like week 1 was about being powerful in the face of immense pressure. Holding on to the railing as the vicious winds tried to pry your fingers off and pull your body back into the abyss. Week two. . . wow totally different. Week Two has been about me learning to deal with an extended quit that was removed from the tension and excitement of the initial battle. Learning to live with the grind of every day fighting the battles and moving on. To learn how to believe in myself over a longer period of time not just pulling for the one week or three days. And learning that life is perfectly acceptable without a cigarette. That life is perfectly enjoyable, hard days are hard days, good days are good days, and that victory is far more pleasant than the constant feeling of defeat.
