@Tiggersmom01  That has to be really scary.   You know smoking isn't going to help any condition, nor is it really going to eliminate the stress.  Stay close right now and let us lend some support.

So what are the doctors saying?

Hi @Tiggersmom01 I noticed your post last night then went to answer and my battery ran out .

I just wanted to say welcome to Ex . I'm am so sorry to hear that you might have a small brain tumour. I understand this isn't a diagnosis yet , but that you might have a tumour ? No diagnosis yet tho right ? So I'm presuming the next step is to find out if there is indeed a small one or not at all and what type if there is one . Then  a plan of action . The unknown is scary I know .

I am so happy to hear it's small if it is. It seems they found it early and that's a good thing but smoking won't help Hun . It won't take it away . It won't take the stress you are rightfully feeling btw or minimize it either . You asked what might help . I suggest walking if you are able .

Smoking won't change the  facts and you don't know for certain yet so take a deep breath and slowly exhale the anxiety. We are here for you and your drs are , your family are and your friends are . You are not alone .

I am so glad you posted .  This is scary and very real for you and I understand just only a little piece of what you might be going through but not like you who are going through it ((((Hugs))) I hope in some small way I can share some hope with you now  .

We can support you in quitting smoking.

I'm just sharing an experience . Everyone is different and each tumour is different . The best advise and information comes from your physician and or specialists in that regard and I highly recommend you continue to work with them during this time .

My niece was diagnosed with a brain tumour about ten years ago now . Her tumour was large and situated on a tough spot . They did surgery , were not able to remove it all . She however, ten years later  is doing amazing . She is still  teaching school raising her two daughters who are now almost teenagers , yes they were little when diagnosed she had just had a baby . She is still doing the things she loves with an exception of a few risky things and of course carefully monitored by her doctor . She still lives today with part of that tumour and is doing well .

I have known several people in my life who have had horrible things like this happen but their positive attitude never let those things define them or drag them down . I don't know how they did it , wish I could pass that on to you and they pass it on to me because I think it's some of the best medicine ever to beat this . I think you have  that same positive attire medicine within you just like they .

We are here for you in regard to quitting smoking . Quitting smoking will help you I think tremendously in this case  so let us help and walk this journey with you . You came to  the right place . Lets start the I quit smoking journey today  in it , to win it .

Keep us updated and lets quit smoking here at Ex together.
