@mckeen0616 Welcome to the Ex and congrats on your decision to quit. For me , quitting for your health is the number one reason. Anything else is just an added benefit. Quit for you and your family will also reap the rewards.
Take the time to learn about nicotine addition and have a plan in place. It can really make a difference. We're all going to experience stress whether we smoke or not. Being prepared gives us the skills we need to cope without smoking. Have you chosen to use an aid? I used Welbutrin and nicotrol inhalers and the physical withdrawal was nil. But quitting also has an emotional and psychological side that can take more work as we learn new behaviors instead of smoking.
