Excuses

A co-worker who had been quit for a few weeks told me this morning that she forgot her patch so she just stopped and bought a pack.  I have heard her go out a couple of times today.  I am assuming to smoke.    If you want to smoke, you can find an excuse to do so....forgot my patch....got PO'd at someone...someone died...someone is sick....bad day at work....spouse/partner made me mad....etc. etc., etc.  Today I am thankful that I have stopped looking for excuses to smoke!   Ok all you Newbies and Serial Quitters - quit making excuses and just do it!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
