Give and get support around quitting

Who Will You Become?

I think we all thought of ourselves as lifetime smokers & that was just our lot in life. One day we wake up & think about quitting because we are really tired of it. Then we decide to quit we think, okay we're gonna do this & carry on with our lives. And that's the way it goes in the beginning. But if we have made a sincere commitment to our quit & protect it at any cost, things change. We soon realize things are available to us, things we've put off because we were smokers can be accomplished now. New interests pop up that we would have never considered before. And we do these things without even realizing what has happened to us. Unknowingly we have slowly become someone we didn't know we wanted to be. That's when we know that we are no longer smokers, no longer a slave to that demon. And you will smile at this epiphany.

Oh yes, you are correct.  Finally getting FED UP, to the point you are willing to be uncomfortable for a time.  Being uncomfortable beat "being controlled by a toxic substance".  Allowing ourselves to see and feel the changes that quitting nicotine brings, is priceless.  1 yr. 172 days quit
