today will be day 2, Im feeling nervous.

Im on my way into Tufts Medical in Boston. My brother who is a cancer patient will be having his 10th surgery within 3 yrs.

I hope and pray i can make the day, i have my patch on...

when i look at him, i aways say if he can endure all this I CAN STOP SMOKING FOREVER!!!

Welcome Deb! I'm sure today will be a difficult day but a cigarette will not change the outcome for your brother. You can make it through the day without smoking. Whatever you do, don't smoke with a patch on....nicotine poisoning can be lethal! My thoughts and warmest wishes are with you as you face this challenging day! Please let us know how it goes.
