Discuss different approaches to quitting, including medication

So I quit and have started the patch today. It has helped but the craving is so strong. I’m using the 21 mg patch since this is a new patch. I do have lozenges as well. But I smoke out of boredom, to relieve stress, after eating, and as soon as I get up in the morning. I am seeking ideas on how to deal with those times when I want to smoke. It has become so much a part of my routine and just want to break the habit. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you so much!

@Mysticpizza Glad you found us and reached out for help.  For a quick solution, go for a walk.  As many if necessary.  And practice deep breathing exercises.

The times you mentioned you smoked are familiar to most of us.  We need to feed our addiction  Read lots of material on the site to educate yourself about nicotine addiction and have a plan in place for when the urges hit.  This link is a great place to start.
