I have been looking forward ot it. Now it is here. I keep having urges to smoke related to psychological cues--situations in which I would usually smoke. I acknowledge the thoughts and don't feed into them. Instead I wait until the next dose of my nicotine replacement.

I am going to be around smokers tonight. I anticipate feeling triggered. I think I will put a toothpick in my mouth. That seems to help.

I feel positive about this quit. I am giving it the due diligence it deserves. I will stay posted. Thanks.
