I work healthcare doing ultrasound. Today I scanned a woman who smelled strongly of cigarettes. The person was actually 20 years older than I am. I was thinking how grateful I am that I quit smoking: I'm enjoying a healthier lifestyle, I don't reek of cigs and I no longer wonder when I'll get my next nicotine fix. I have 464 days free and I'm most grateful for the fact that I quit now and not 20 years from now. Sure, I wish I had quit sooner but I'm an ex-smoker NOW and that's what really matters. I don't want to look back twenty years from now and say "I wish I had quit smoking when..." If you are new here, don't give up; it CAN be done and it IS being done by many of us here, and it is soooooo worth it! FREEDOM!!! Happy Labor Day! CP
