Good Morning Non-smokers:
I have approached day 5, and this really seems like a challenge: I do want to smoke a cigarette right now, but I am thinking of how far I have came to this point. The first day was not so bad, I watched other people smoke, and thought I do not want to be them, but at this point now, I am not sleeping so well, I am coughing a lot, and having heavy thoughts of lighting up a cigarette. Thanks to this support group, I would have lit up a cigarette a long time ago. Yesterday, I ate a lot of snacks and food to allievate the thought of not smoking, but it keeps me sleepy. I need to find another outlet, so I won't be 20 lbs. overweight when this withdrawal symptoms pass. I really am enjoying reading these interesting blogs that are motivating me not to smoke, so I can keep the strength. Thanks.
