I have twelve hours before it has been two weeks. Two whole weeks! I can hardly believe it. I made it here once before, and in 36 hours it will have been the longest I have ever gone in 22 years without a cigarette. It saddens me to think that over half my life I spent smoking. Tonight I have decided I am going to go buy myself a present for doing so well. Normally I spent so much on cigarettes I was never able to do that. I want to celebrate my small victory!
I am a little nervous about tomorrow. My husband is playing his first show with his new band tomorrow night at a local bar. I am going to support him but of course being in a bar is going to make me nervous. This quit means so much to me that I really am a little worried. I think because it means so much to me I will be able to stand my ground. It does help that I am going with my friend who is a non smoker. I think that will help me alot. Wish me luck!
