Share your quitting journey
I like today's quit count--24 days, that is a couple of dozen days free, makes me think of eggs--which makes me think that eggs hatch into birds, which makes me think and birds fly. So I am getting used to my wings, and I can fly, completely free from the nicodemon's clutches.
My first week I was terribly irritable, thought I might lose it, but I didn't and support on this site helped. The next two weeks I isolated and felt pretty down, but still used tools to stay smokefree. This week I am doing a bit of connecting with others face to face and feeling pretty upbeat about it. Everyone's journey is different and I appreciate hearing about how others have found their way. I know that my mood can change quickly and craves can happen. But I am filled with hope that I can stick with NOPE because smoking is simply not an option.
Thanks for listening--Raissa
