Sid8 My withdrawals were fine until I got down to 5 or so/day. That made it difficult, because my triggers were driving and after-dinner smoking, so I had to decide at that point which one of my "essential" cigs to give up. The driving ones were the hardest, but a few things that helped were cutting up carrots and celery into long, thin cig-like sticks and munching on those while driving. It helped to just hold them, and the fresh veggie taste made me want to smoke less somehow, but I bet you could the same with potato sticks or whatever. One thing is that by the time I got down to 1/day, I was spending all my time obsessing on when would be the optimal time to have my one precious smoke, that I just got sick of it, and decided to quit early 🙂
