Temptation

Not sure how to post this, but I discovered something today.  I found myself actively looking for an excuse to have just one cigarette.  My first reaction was that this a stupid way to think, and that if I kept looking for an excuse I would certainly find one.  I am thankful that I recognized what I was doing, and renewed my pledge of not smoking today.

Those are powerful moments and I think they are necessary and when we go through them, it makes us wiser and gives us more confidence.  Stay strong.

@drbeckering What you're experiencing is normal.  You're early in your quit so the internal battle between nicotine addiction and becoming an Ex is a struggle right now.  I'm so glad you won the battle today.   There will be ups and downs on this journey for now, but in the end, you'll be a success.

Glad you reached out.  We're been there and we're always here for you.
