Making it

I made it through another day…I got up this morning because my phone was going off and it was my youngest daughter texting me from NYC to tell me that there was a shooting on live TV on the station in Roanoke, which is our local news station.  I had not heard about it because the TV was not on.  I did my bike workout today and a partial weight workout and a load of laundry, and then went to the store.  I could hardly walk through the store, thank God for grocery carts.  I planned some meals for the next few days when my daughter is home and I talked to my oldest daughter on the phone tonight.  I told her that all of my friends who are close by are heavy smokers and drinkers.  That’s rather unsettling.  I should find out some time tomorrow what the results of my low dose CT scan were…my shortness of breath is horrendous after working (the building is under construction), I am not sure I will be able to handle it but I do not want to give up the students.  I will try to avoid the construction area as much as possible and maybe that will help.  My oxygen sat tonight was better than yesterday or the day before, I could not get it above 91% no matter how hard I tried yesterday but tonight, it was 97% after a laughing fit with my daughter.

I will get back to commenting on blogs and being more of a participant as soon as I can.  I am overloaded with things to do with the house and trying to get ready for my daughter’s visit.

My granddaughter is improving but far from 100%, she sees the primary care doc next week, she is still having joint pain which I hope and pray is not RA.

My love to all and I think of you all the time.  This is a very worthwhile journey!
