Food for Thought

I was not going to post but got inspired by Dale's (jonescarp) "Weight Loss post" on 10/24/14

(ME: 9 DOF 253.6 lbs) (WIFE: 4 DOF gained 5lbs)

From  a 270 smoker  to a 235 smoker (prior to stopping smoking)  to my current non smoker 253.6 (Two weeks of reckless indulgents) = gained 20 pounds / Hmmmm let's see see if I can find some common sense and will power in my bag of tricks. OH LOOKIE HERE, I'm a non-smoker, I got tons of willpower.

Time to start juicing again. I love juicing, but it's very time consuming because of the need to wash all the veggies. BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT.

I'm not a fanatic about it and don't do it constantly but boy oh boy, when I do, not only is there a wondrfully healthy weight loss result, there is an additionally amazing benefit of a sharpness to the brain, depression is replaced with hope. It happens to me every time and I love it! The first time it happened a few years ago, it was totally unexpected because I read about it nowhere..... It just happened.

So why not do it daily? Freaking too lazy!, The shopping, cleaning veggies , juicing, cleaning equip. But when I do it whoo hooo, it's awesome.

We are going to start a juice regimen today for about a week and then I think I'll try to maintain a moderate regimen throughout my daily diets. Will miracles never cease, My Wife suggested the juicing yesterday..... she couldn't stand the color of the stuff or the strong earthy scent but recently has been testing the waters and now is an advocate and participant.... YAY.
