We had no good news yesterday with my husband’s tests.  They found a clot in his heart so they had to cancel the cardiac conversion.  He has been re-admitted and they are pumping in the heparin and Coumadin to try and get it dissolved, Dr said it could take 6 weeks or 6 months.  The disappointment in his face just broke my heart.  As I was leaving 14 hours later and changing my “I can handle anything” face and putting on my “It’s ok to let your emotions show” face, I realized that during the entire day I never had a” I need a smoke to get me thru this” moment.  I have been dodging triggers left and right  these last 2 weeks, But….. With the love of God, a strong commitment to my quit and my family here I am still smoke free……
