Day 476!

Well,

When I joined and quit smoking back on January 2013, it was because I was told I would need spinal surgery to correct my back pain. So I did quit but I tried many alternative therapies because surgery terrified me. Well after trying everything -physical therapy, aquatic therapy, shots, acupuncture, and chiropractic, and medication- I finally realized I could not continue to live with the pain so I had my surgery on April 8 and am in my 2nd week of recovery.

I am still trying to deal with all the tghings that I can't do and accept that I have to ask for help. I am hoping that I made the right decision. I am still in pain which is expected.

I am still an EX-I am a little blue which I think happens after major surgery but I will not go back to smoking. The nicodemon will not win.

I f anyone has any recommended reading that may help my recovery I would welcome all suggestions..

Thanks for all the support
