#1 how long does your normal urge last. (2-3 min)
Keep telling yourself that it is not going to last that long.
Tell yourself NO out LOUD and mean it!
Tell yourself you will get through it and that you REFUSE to smoke.
Think NO MATTER WHAT you will not smoke and it will be over before you know it.
When you say NO the urge will run away because it is in shock that you said NO.
Thanks for the advice, I will be sure that NO is a daily thought process for now on, or at least on and afer my quit date. October 6. Wish me luck.
