I've quit three times: age 17, 24, and 37. No matter what happens never stop thinking of yourself as a non-smoker. Don't accept failure and confront temporary setbacks as soon as you possibly can ... pretzel sticks, carrot sticks, and water bottles help. Lots of fresh air, even cold showers if necessary - no joke. I haven't smoked in eight years. I'm 45 and determined to stay smoke-free from now on. Thanks for your help with this ongoing challenge. It does get easier.
