Give and get support around quitting
Like jadesrfun said keeping your hands busy helps alot... Get on the computer, crochet, sew, go to places where you can not smoke. I've made my house smoke free- we have to go outside. All of these things can help you get through a craving and it will pass in a few minutes.
I forgot to mention also taking a walk, yoga or some form of exercise helps me alot and to boot ...I've lost 5lbs since Christmas! Just concentrate on your goal & your reasons for quitting.
