There is so much information here on various quitting smoking topics. Information AND Inspiration. More than one could ever imagine if you just surfed around. A lot of it I call the "Good Stuff" and I have a few reference blogs in that category. Whenever a topic arises that you are curious about, or need advice if you may not feel comfortable asking you can simply use the search engine to research. Search Engine? When I arrived at EX it was suggested to select an elder or elders to follow to read their pages and become connected. Which I did. They were willing to hold my hand until I was able to walk alone on this quit smoking journey. Of course, I had my favorites and quite frankly learned a lot from so many. They became the voices in my head. I went through their pages of information on so many different topics and the comments they shared. . Example. JonesCarpeDiem What to Expect Blogs Thomas3.20.2010 info on COPD and Mindfulness' Youngatheart- Welcome package. Giulia Screenplay, MarilynH daily inspiration. @NDC_Team just toname a few. The list could go on and on. I suggest that you take some time to check out their blogs. Here is the list /blogs/Giulia-blog/2017/06/18/elders-list-ao-december-7-2016?sr=search&searchId=e05c7086-a65a-465d-b... Choose your own but do not limit yourself. Of course it is up to you. Being an addict often times we come with our own defense. . Here are a few blogs that I thought may be helpful to someone who is being challenged or just go to the Best of EX They may have older dates on them but they are just as valuable as some of the current ones. Thank You Jackie1-25-15, very well done. Any one and everyone should read this.
I searched Best of Ex for its inception date, and found the first blog included was written by SkyGirl in 2013! That is EIGHT years of the best written on the site. Sky (aka Nancy) was a flight attendant who carried a whole lemon with her in a baggie as she went about her flying career, and bit (yes, bitter rind and all!) into it every time she had a bad craving. She even posted a picture of it once!!! Worked for her - she has been quit since that time!
GREAT idea, Jackie, to remind folks of all this wonderful place has to offer, in addition to its wonderful members like you!
Perfect. Just as you are
