New here, Im 49 and never smoked but always tried to get friends to quit

I guess Im lucky, I never smoked and only have a dozen or less drinks a year. Just never needed either.

But I have been telling people I know to quit for at least 30 years, got my mom to quit at age 75 after a 50 year habit. Shes still around at age 86 and the dr told her quitting added years to her life at her age.
