Today marks 90 days as a non-smoker. Although there were some close calls, I remained completely smoke/nicotine free and I really can't believe how quickly time flies. Except for nicotine gum the first couple of days, this has been a cold turkey quit and without medications. This milestone is especially meaningful since I had been addicted to nicotine for 15 years. For a long time I couldn't imagine life without smoking.
I really like the "re-learn life without cigarettes" concept since we had convinced ourselves that actions and emotions such as drinking alchohol, relaxing, being stressed, being bored had to be accompanied with smoking. Drinking, relaxing, being stressed and bored is certainly much nicer without smoking and a lot cheaper!
Keep the quit everyone!
