Make a Plan: Get ready for your quit date

You're probably wondering what you can do to prepare yourself as you near your quit date. Below is a list of things you can do to prepare yourself for your quit date. Keep in mind, it's your journey, these are mely suggestions. Other EXperienced quitters of the EX Community may come along and share their quit wisdom as well. Keep an open mind as you start an amazing journey!

• Fill out your community profile  and Upload your own Avatar.
• Get really familiar with your My EX Plan | BecomeAnEX  and complete as many steps as possible. 
• Get reading both on My EX Plan | BecomeAnEX  and here on the EX Community(especially the Best of EX)
• Prepare a Quit kit.
• Ensure you have NRT (if you plan on using it). You may need to call 800-QUIT-NOW if your employer/health plan provider doesn't sponsor you here on EX. Look for Sponsorship section under Edit Profile.
• Plan out a routine change.
• Have a list of craving busters and craving buster techniques.
• Prevent Relapse and check out Relapse Prevention.
• Bookmark the EX Community so you can get back here quickly when you have a craving.
• Prepare your friends and family and write a letter to a loved one.
• Write a goodbye letter to vaping/smoking/chewing.  Unsure how to start, get some more inspiration.
• What To Expect In The First Four Months.
• Read about other's quit journeys.
• Start your Quit Journal here on EX and journal your quit journey.
• Ask a general Quit Question in Support, Ask a question or read others questions in Quitting Methods or Have a health condition that condition your facing while quitting? Check out Health Conditions.
• Create a Mantra and a Nicotine Free Vision for your quit journey
• Respond to someone who doesn't have a reply yet.
