Lung capacity back?

How long does it take to start to feel like you can breathe again? When you don’t feel so winded just talking? Thanks in advance.♥️

@VeeCat22 Welcome to the Ex and congrats on your upcoming quit. These are some general timelines.  Everyone is different but these are some benefits you can  see from quitting.  Have you ever had you lungs checked - low dose lung CT?

It was weird. Coughs disappeared in just a couple of days. The nicotine patches also cleared my sinuses. I breathe better.

It took me a year to where I could breathe through my nose 24/7 with out a problem.  I got back into riding my mountain bike and that helped out a lot on not being winded.
