Give and get support around quitting
I recently found an empty vape cartridge after in my teens car after she's already been to court for underage possession after an incident at school, and is on probation with her school facing expulsion if she re-offends. I was a 15 year smoker who finally kicked the habit and feel somewhat responsible. Anyone have suggestions for consequences that are appropriate for lying and continuing to use vapes? I know how hard it is to kick this habit, and I'm devastated she made this choice. I want her to understand there are consequences but also work toward helping her make the decision to quit. I'd welcome any suggestions or advice.
@Rleacock I certainly understand your concern for your daughters health. As you probably know, its not easy to make someone else stop an addiction. It's hard and the person has to be willing to do the work involved.
