Every couple months I look for people who have a quit date more than 50 days in the future. You're mentioned below because it appears you have a quit date set more than 50 days in the future. The EX Community is a place you can successfully quit, many have since 2008!

We're really glad that people come to EX every day to quit. Some are excited to get started while others are apprehensive for their own reasons.  We get that.  But we want to help with that apprehension and any worries they have to help make quitting as easy as it can be. Part of that apprehension is having the information so you can feel more confident in making a change sooner than later. Whether you're chewing, vaping or smoking, EX is the place to get information and resources to help with your quit journey.

Unsure of what the impact/benefit might be? Go to the Quit Calculator to find out. Put in your quit date to see how many days from your quit date (indicated by negative number). If you smoke you can also find out how many cigarettes you can avoid (indicated by negative number).

Typically people choose a quit date within 105 days from joining EX or 37 days from the point they join the EX Community.

For the people who join the community, ~19% have quit before coming to the community, 73% have set a quit date after joining the community and 8% have it set the day they join the community. Similarly, 11% have reported quitting before they joined EX, 79% set a quit date after they joined EX and 9% set it for the day they join EX.  This tells me that it's good to Join EX and especially to join the EX Community. Your ability to sucessfully quit will be improved by joining EX whether you've joined the EX Community or not. Please stop by and get involved so EX can be part of your quit journey.
