This is a very moving movie about a woman who has cancer. It sounded like she had lung cancer, but I don't think the type was specified. The actress who played the role won the Australian Academy Award in 1991. Her life paralleled the character she portrayed and she died shortly after receiving the Award. It is an amazing movie. If you need incentive to stop smoking - get it. It might shake you up enough to spur you on. It's beautiful and teaches one the value of life, courage, love, and humor.
