Nicotine inhalers

Ok call me a dummy but how the heck are these suppose to work. Are you suppose to "smoke" them like a cigerette or like puff on them hard? The directions are not in the box and the pharmist was no help.

How do you get them? Can you get them from your regular doctor?

HI @Number6 Is this your quit day?  Congrats.  Some of the posts you'll read are old and you may not receive a response from the author.

How are you doing?

@Number6 Didn't completely answer your question yesterday.  Was in a rush.  Yes you need a prescription from your doctor.   I actually used nicotrol inhalers along with Welbutrin.  I found them  very helpful with my quit.

But remember, what ever aid you choose you still have to do the work.  Have you been reading material on the site?  Learning about nicotine addiction, identifying triggers, creating new associations instead of smoking, etc.   This link provides lots of great information to help with your quit.

Also, consider taking the Daily Pledge.  It's a great way to stay on track one day at a time.

Stay close and reach out if you need support.
