i was a smoker for 13 years, and this is my first ever quit attempt. I quit cold turkey after ramping down to 1cigarette/day.
I have many reasons for quitting, but none of them meant anything until I decided that I wanted to quit. Until that point, quitting was just an idea I was kicking around in my head.
