Wishing and hoping is not going to help you quit or keep you quit.

Here's one way flapping your lips will help your quit.

Until you are out of harms way and have unlearned the ritual of smoking, when you get an urge to smoke say.

"I Don't Do That Anymore" say it out loud and say it again and again. By doing this you are acknowledging what you say you want and NOT falling back to what you don't want.

Talking about what will be will not make it happen. You have to take action and make changes to your thinking. Yes it is sometimes uncomfortable but it's only impossible if you say things like "I need a smoke" "A smoke would really calm me down." Talking to yourself in that way amplifies the negative and guarantees failure.

If you want to make it to your first year you have to make the right choice every time.
