I am 63 (this week) and have smoked for 45 years.I have tried to quit many times and have succeeded a few times but only for 6 months at the longest. I have tried to quit twice in the last year and a half.
Now my best friend has lung cancer and I am very afraid. I know I have lung damage because I had a cold last week and now I have bronchitis.
I am starting Chantix in late July and my quit date is August 3. I have to make it stick this time. That's why I feel that I need support to make it work.
