Description
I am a mother, teacher, artist, dog lover, and ashamed that I am a smoker. I am a smart person and should have known better before I started. I was 18 and naive. In college in the seventies, everyone smoked and it was part of the culture. Over the years I discovered that I am a highly addicted personality. I have quit many times, sometimes for more than a year, but haven't been succesful. I was diagnosed with MS twently years ago (no major disabilities), had a heart attack four years ago, and was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer in January. Of course I quit immediately, the very small tumor was removed, did not need chemo or radiation, and one month ago I smoked a cigarette. The next day I smoked three, the next 10, and you know the rest of the story. It is IMPERATIVE that I quit for good. I probably won't be so lucky the next time.................
