Description

Hi, my name is Jennifer. I'm an elementary school teacher, painter and poet. Currently, I'm on a leave of absence to become a mother for the first time and I just got married on July 13, 2013.

I joined this community to get additional support from other EX smokers who want to celebrate their freedom and teach me the best ways to get free of nicotine. Thank you.

Some of my favorite quotes of all time: "In the process of letting go you will lose many things from the past, but you will find yourself." – Deepak Chopra

"imageRemember...what you believe about yourself affects your life more than what anyone else believes about you."

"What we believe we become."

"What we resist, persists."

"All suffering originates from craving, from attachment, from desire."

"There is something magical about our imagination and the belief that anything can happen if your desire is strong enough."

"Imagine you are the best version of you possible.

My forever quit theme song:

Allen Carr's life changing, mind bending MUST READ book,"The Easy Way to QuitSmoking."http://media.wix.com/ugd/74fa87_2010cc5496521431188f905b7234a829.pdf

Series of videos to help you quit and stay quit~

http://whyquit.com/joel/

I love music and want to incorporate the lyrics as mantras for my quit. "Summer Breeze." The videos also make great visualizations when I can't meditate.

If you are feeling weak or just need a reminder about why you should stay quit, then watch this video. It is a 7 minute long commercial that aired in Japan and scares the life out of me every time I watch it. It's kind of long and repetative in some parts but it'll really make you think twice before lighting up again.  CAUTION: SOME GRAPHIC CONTENT.
