Description

I turned 53 on April 1st and made that my quit day. I have smoked since I was 15 with a 2 year quit in my late 30's. I work in health care so I see the effects of smoking daily....but that had never been enough to make me want to quit myself. I had a TIA or a mini stroke in March of this year and while it only lasted a very short time and I was OK when it was over it completely change my way of looking at my life. Yes, this could be me in the nursing home having to depend on other people to care for me....feed me, dress me, give me a bath, wipe my butt. NOT HAPPENING!! Not because of something I put in my mouth and lite up with fire anyway. I come here as a humble nicotine addict in search of tough love and encouragement and all the help I can get, to put with my desire to be smoke free.
