Wow - I missed a night

Day 110 and I didn't check in yesterday.  I spent a very lazy weekend, and ended up watching stuff on my DVR last night so I didn't come back in the evening.  I also didn't worry about the Fitbit yesterday, but I got over 5,000 steps today, so I'm happy.  Balance in everything is my new motto.

Interestingly I've had some stronger -- well, I won't call them craves, but something I feel in my chest -- that empty feeling that I haven't had for a really long time.  It's not super strong, but it's more than I've dealt with since about Day 44.  Doesn't really surprise me because I never expected to be left alone by my addiction forever.  Of course I haven't even remotely felt like smoking -- you see, I don't do that any more.  My addiction will eventually get it, and I must say, I went longer than I expected to without even a shadow of a crave, so here it is, and (yawn) it will pass.  Nothing to get upset about at all.

One more day of work before I'm on my vacation.  Wednesday can sleep late and get ready for the trip to Nashville and then Thursday we're off!  I'll have my iPad with me so hopefully I can check in here (with pictures).

So I'm doing fine, I'm the poster child (oops, the poster old lady) for happy quitters!!  Love to all -- and, as always, Sweet Dreams, my friends.

Hi!  I too, have "senses" of wanting a cig.  They too pass.  Its really odd when I get the thought, but I have not given in.

Congrats on day 110!!!

It happens... and then it goes away.  One day it really won't happen that often at all ... believe ... you are doing great on this journey.

The dreaded empty feeling, its not painful just annoying.. You are getting very close to the end of NML so don't be surprised if little things pop up out of nowhere, It is that damn little demon making a last ditch effort to get you back in its clutches...   Little does he know you are the boss now and at the controls.. Keep it up and have a great trip to TN we will see you there!

I am counting on you and Sky to bubble wrap Ellen on the trip so she does not harm herelf.

xoxo
