The decision to quit
Wasn’t easy I know
The things that entrapped us
We had to let go
But within we found the courage
To go through crave and strife
And together we walk this journey
To quit , for a better life
We count our blessings one day at a time
The milestones with cheers
For we know the journeys worth it
To be free from disease and tears
We encourage our fellow quitters
To do their level best
Nope the simple common word
That leads us to success .

Welcome to your freedom
Where life begins anew
Reach out when it is needed ,
Share what’s on your mind
Pledge to stay committed
Be patient understanding and kind
You smoked for many years
Change the things you can
It is worth it for the long haul
To really make a plan .
One foot in front of the other ,
And one step at a time
You’re never a failure here
You’ll really do just fine
Keep on moving forward ,
If you slip or fall
If you watch where you are going
You will not slip at all
