I am celebrating my six months of freedom, thanks to hard work and alot of support and encourgament from the Elders on this site. You were my lifeline from day one and for that I am grateful.  I know that this is my "First and Forever Quit" For several weeks, I have been seeing a lot of new quits, and a lot of whinning and excuses for continuing to smoke. No one ever said that this was an easy addiction to control, but friends, it can be done and it is so worth it. My dear friend who was 52 years old was told 3 weeks ago that she has lung cancer.  She died Saturday.  SMOKING KILLS.  I realized today after reading several blogs, that I will never be an Elder  that is going to coddle and baby a serial quitter. You either chose to smoke or not. Keep the cigarette away from your face.  OMG I AM DALE !!!!
