I had taken Wellbutrin the past and it seemed to work for awhile. That was such a long time ago. I came to the decision that I don't want to be on any medications if I don't have to be. The side effects are horrible. I currently take supplements and they help me a lot! 🙂
I have known people who say that it helped...I felt like a wet towel while on it...meds for depression are tricky; sometimes you have to find the one that works for you and unfortunately it often takes some trial and error.
Worked for me. I had a plan that I would only use it for only 90 days following RX directions and knowing side effects. I used it before but without nicotine addiction education and a support system. Stayed quit for about 1yr until I started dating a smoker. Now 545 days free. It helps takes the edge off but you still have to work your quit. I did not want to use NRT.

you can try it and see if it works for you. and if it doesn't, then try something else until you find the combination that works for you. Some do cold turkey, some Chantix, Wellbutrin, nicotine gum/lozenge/patches. Most important to remember if one doesn't work for you, try something else until you find the right fit. I tried Wellbutrin. didn't work for me. I tried cold turkey. Didn't work for me. I tried the patches and that worked in my instance. Just don't give up. it's worth it in the long haul. Hop on my page and view the short video and two highlighted readings.
I used it (full dose for 2 or 3 weeks and then Doctor let me drop to half dose for another 10 weeks). I truly believe that the reading I did to prepare (like the Carr book) and the support from the site were even more influential in my quit. But, the Welbutrin certainly didn't hurt!
