I am on day 10! Almost done with day 10 of my quit. AND... for whatever reason, the first week was easier for me. Then - day nine happend yesterday. I thought I was losing my mind and felt like a truck hit me. I knew last week was too good to be true. I must be a slow detoxer and responder. This sucks! I am not going to give in for sure! BUT, triple UGH, my emotions are a mess right now. Bringing out the GABA and 5htp, Vitmain C, glutathione, binders, and drinking a gallon of water every day, but I would like it to hurry up. 🙂
I actually am posting to share something silly I am doing to help during these ugly days of cravings. I am learning a new party trick.
I have been memorizing the song, "We Didn't Start the Fire," by Billy Joel. I am sure every ONE of you have heard it but I have never met anyone who knows ALL the words. When I am home and get a stong craving, I put on spotify (really loud) and (try) and sing the words. Hopefully memorizing it eventually. Even reading them on the screen and singing along is a challenge. When my husband is home and he hears the song come on, I can hear him from the other room say, OH BOY- she's having another one. LOLOL
