WOW TRIPLE DIGITS 100 DAYS!!!

Wow who would have thought I would make it this far.  I didn’t think I would make it past day 1 and WOOHOO!  I am so excited to say I have not taken one puff off a cigarette for 100 days straight in a row.  I have been reading some of my past blogs and will say I have picked up many new talents along the way such as kicking, whining, screaming, antsy pants syndrome, crying, pillow punching to mention a few but gees a woman got to do what is takes to get through no matter what!!  Will say this has been one crazy ride and one heck of a non-ending bumpy roads and holding on to the faith and belief that smooth roads will become a thing in the future.  I am forever grateful for everyone here sticking with me through the tough and rough times I have been through during this journey.  I am forever grateful that you all didn’t give up on me and believed in me when I didn’t.  I am so thankful that I stumbled into this group and have met wonderful caring people willing to take hold of my hand and show me how to be a quitter.  I am thankful for even the times when I needed a ping upside the head or tough love, it was given out of love and care for me.  I have come a long way in this journey and believe I still have lots more growth to go but will say I am becoming a better me one day at a time and will say I am liking the new me so far.   So newbies you made the commitment not to smoke no matter what!!! Life throws at you.  Took me a while to figure out the commitment thing but once I did by golly my freedom is growing.  I always took heed to the advice all the elders gave me as I knew they had more knowledge and success under their belts on how to get me a successful quit.  Don’t give in to the lies of the Nico demon dude, hang strong, tough and know you can win this nicotine battle once for all.  I have read a lot from newbies lately the frustration of the cravings and thinking it should be over by now.  Be patient with you it is not going to happen overnight.  It takes times to relearn life without a cigarette, so take the time you need to relearn.    Remember NOPE!!! SINAO!!! And I don’t do that anymore will get you far in your quit.  Thanks for all the love and support everyone has given me when the tough got going they showed me how to get through and for that I will be forever grateful.

About the Author
Hi! My name is Sharon and I am married, a mom to 5 kids and also have 2 fur babies that are both shelties and considered my kids. I have smoked for about 30 years. I came here to learn how to quit and stay quit. I need to quit to impove my health and was tired of nicotine controlling me and Doctors and family nagging me. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now that I have joined in the EX family I now have been free of nicotine since May 13th 2016.
