Unexpected benefits of quitting

The MLS cup is in town today and we're having the worst weather I think we've had to date. 40mph winds, torrential rain...should be a great game, wish I was there!

The coolest thing is, since I quit smoking a million or so years ago, I could afford one of their $700+ tickets! That is so exciting to me. When I first quit I didn't think the money would be a factor, since I smoked a pipe and pipe tobacco is sadly inexpensive. But it adds up! According to my gadget I've saved nearly 4 grand (OMG). So stick with it, is what I'm saying, you may get even more benefits than you dreamed of ❤️

Hi, my name is Staci and I was a serial quitter for many, many years. I had my last puff in July of 2020. I live in Portland, Oregon with my parents. My cat died of lymphoma in February 2023. I suffer from Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar type, so if anyone wants to chat about quitting and mental health, drop me a line :)
